Indonesia Independence Day is an annual event to celebrate the anniversary of Indonesia. Everyone can participate, from children until adults. Participants wear unique costumes and perform dances or marching bands. This carnival is usually held after August 17th, and further information can be seen in the Pemkabtegal Instagram account.
In commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, the Tegal Regency Government held a Carnival entitled "New Indonesian Advanced Archipelago" for two days.
Ruwat Bumi
The Tegal Regency Government through the Department of Tourism, Youth and Sports (Parpora) held the annual Ruwat Bumi event at the Guci Tourist Object, Bumijawa. We can function Ruwat Bumi as a filter to prevent culture shock from occurring in the people of Guci and its surroundings who rely on the tourism sector as a source of economic income for residents.
Meanwhile, the procession for the Ruwat Bumi event was lively, starting with a procession from Pekandangan Hamlet and from Guci Village to the entertainment stage in the parking lot above the Guci tourist attraction.
Next, Forkompimda members rode horses to shower 13 to carry out the tradition of bathing kendit goats. After carrying out the ritual at shower 13, the activity continued with the earth ruwat ceremony in the urn parking lot.

Nyong Festival
Nyong Festival was first held on 2019. However, the 3rd Nyong Festival will be held on October 26 2024 at Slawi Ayu People's Park or Taman Rakyat Slawi (Trasa).
This annual festival is held by the Tegal Regency Arts Council with the title Simbar Lintang, which has a deep meaning: appreciating art stars who have brought Tegal's name to the national and even international stage.
