Alam Indah Beach, also known as PAI by citizens of Tegal, is a beach attraction located on the north coast of Java Island. This beach has become the main destination for the public, especially on the weekend, when the crowds are highest on Sunday morning. Some attractions of this beach are the ability to enjoy the sunrise and sunset, the floating dock, and even water sports such as banana boating for a fee of about Rp 50,000.00* per person. Not only does this beach have a beautiful view, but it is also known for the folklore of Nyi Rantamsari, the mystic ruler of the north coast of Java Island. Batamsari Beach is located east of Alam Indah Beach, on the north coast of Java Island. This beach offers a great view and has many places to sit and relax. It is surrounded by the coastal she-oaks. This beach not only provides visitors with a beautiful view, but it also offers culinary options from some food stalls located in an attractive location near the shore. The entrance fee is only about Rp. 5,000.00*, including the parking fee.
The location of this beach is between Batamsari beach and Pulo Kodok beach, right in the east of Batamsari beach. The entrance of this beach is face to face with the entrance of Batamsari beach. This beach also has less differences from the Batamsari beach, all of them offering the good view and many places to sit and relax surrounding by the coastal she-oaks. What makes this beach different from the Batamsari beach is the icon of Komodo beach itself, the statue of the komodo dragon at the shore. The entrance fee is about Rp. 3,000,00* including the parking fee.
Pulo Kodok Beach is located east of Batamsari Beach and Komodo Beach, making this beach the eastest beach on the north coast of Tegal. This beach is called Pulo Kodok, or in English “Frog Island,”, because of the icon, which is a frog statue at the entrance of this beach. According to the locals, the reason why this beach is called Pulo Kodok or Frog Island is because there are many people fishing on it, but when they don’t get any fish, they will move from one spot to another. They don’t like waiting, just like a frog that jumps around. The entrance fee is the same as at Batamsari Beach and Komodo Beach, about Rp. 5,000.00*, including the parking fee.
This beach is in the west from the fish auction at the Muarareja district, Tegal Barat subdistrict, Tegal. This beach is in the west part of Tegal, not like the other beaches in the east part of Tegal. People come to this beach to enjoy the sunset while sitting and relaxing in the bamboo gazebos. Visitors can also play on the shore. The entrance fee to this beach on the weekdays is about Rp. 5,000,00*, while on the weekend it is about Rp. 6,000,00*. The motorcycle parking fee is about Rp. 2,000,00*, while the car parking fee is about Rp. 3,000,00*.
